Camp Southern Ground in Fayetteville, Georgia, offers veteran programs at no cost to veterans and welcomes participants from across the country. Its programs help veterans and their families find community, direction, purpose, and support after service.

What they offer

  • Warrior Week: a free, six-day program for transitioning service members and veterans. Using CliftonStrengths, Gallup's wellbeing framework, coaching, and peer connection, participants leave with clear values and a personal plan for career and life after service.
  • Warrior PATHH: a 90-day, peer-delivered posttraumatic growth training program for combat veterans and first responders. It starts with a 5-day residential initiation followed by three months of support. Women's and men's cohorts run separately, and no clinical diagnosis is required.
  • Warrior Family Camp: a weekend for families where at least one parent or guardian is a veteran or active-duty service member, or the spouse of a fallen or deceased service member. Children ages 5 to 17 attend with their families.
  • Military Kids Camp: a dedicated camp week for military children.

Program dates change each season, so check the website for current schedules and applications.
